Mary is a young married woman. When her relationship got rocky, she cheated on her husband- and got pregnant. She’s giving up her child in order to save her relationship with her husband and give her child the stable upbringing it deserves.

Claudia is a young woman who became pregnant accidentally with her boyfriend of one month. They broke up but he doesn’t want Claudia to give up the baby. Luckily Claudia's new boyfriend supports her decision.

Mary meets with an adoption counselor to help her decide on the family that will eventually raise her child.

Mary is overwhelmed. She knows that adoption is the right path for her, but she knows it’s not going to be easy to give up her baby.

Mary finds a family that she really likes, but she’s not quite ready to decide on them yet.

Claudia and her boyfriend talk about the adoption. Claudia mentions that SHE was adopted, and she thinks it’s a really great and respectable practice.

Claudia herself was adopted, so she really believes in the importance of this decision.

Claudia meets with a woman who got pregnant by the same man.

Claudia is told that, though he promised to help out with the child, he is never around and barely sees his son.

The other woman tells Claudia that she is making the right decision by choosing adoption.

Mary's husband comes to her house to talk.

Mary's husband tells her that he is moving forward with the divorce.

Mary insists that he should rethink getting back together.

Mary's husband tells her he doesn’t want to have anything to do with her child.

Claudia meets with an adoption agency, and they warn her that the baby’s father could potentially stop the adoption.

Claudia is worried. She knows that getting her ex-boyfriend to agree to the adoption will not be easy.

Mary meets the couple that she is considering giving her baby to.

Mary loves the fact that they look very close. She wants her child to grow up in a loving environment.

Claudia meets with her ex-boyfriend.

Claudia's boyfriend is NOT happy that she is giving the baby up without letting him have a say in the matter.

Claudia asks him how many kids he already has, and is disgusted when it takes him a minute to figure it out.

Claudia's ex-boyfriend insists that he can take care of the child and tells her he will bring lawyers into it if he has to.

Mary goes to the doctor to find out if her baby is a boy or a girl!

The adoptive parents are super excited to find out that Mary is having a boy!

Mary thinks that the couple was not very respectful and that they were treating the ultrasound like it was their own.

Mary tells the adoption agent that she wants to select another couple.

The adoption agent is sad that Mary didn’t like the first couple and doesn’t want to have to tell them that they no longer have a child. But she tells Mary she will find her a couple that she is happy with! It is her baby, after all.

Claudia goes into labor a week early.

Claudia gives birth to a baby boy!

Claudia is heartbroken that she has to give up her child, but she knows it’s for the best.

The adoption agent reminds Claudia that if her ex-boyfriend tries to stop the adoption in the next 60 days, the adoption cannot go through. Luckily, Claudia's ex-boyfriend is nowhere to be found! Looks like he forgot about his seventh child.

Mary goes into labor!

Mary gives birth to a healthy baby boy.

Claudia and her boyfriend spend some time with Claudia's son. Claudia knows she’s making the right decision to give him up; he will have much better opportunities with another family.

The adoption agent visits Mary.

What a cute baby! Mary is having a hard time giving up her child.

The next day, Mary tells the adoption agent that she decided against adoption. She wants to keep her baby.

The adoption agent is happy for Mary, but now has to tell yet another family that they don’t get a child.

But the adoption agent knows that Mary made the right decision for herself. She congratulates Mary on her new child!
